Speaking

    Keynotes

Six talks, each 30 to 60 minutes and tailored to your audience. Every one can run in person, online or hybrid, and most can be extended into a workshop for the same group.

    Keynote 1

    Headcount of One

What one person, working with AI, can now build.

    The talk

Ralph built PiViva, a coaching platform with 43 coaching tools, as a single founder with AI doing much of the work a team would once have done: code, content, documents and testing. This is the practical account of how that worked, where AI was brilliant, where it fell over, and what it means for how teams, roles and budgets are organised in any business.

    Your audience leaves with

    • A realistic picture of where AI gives a small team a real advantage today, and where it still needs a person
    • A way of organising work so people direct, question and check the AI
    • Questions to ask about roles, hiring and team design over the next two years

Best for: founders, SME leadership teams, innovation and change events, boards.

    Keynote 2

    The Warmth in the Room

As machines take on more of the thinking, human presence becomes worth more.

    The talk

Based on Ralph's book of the same name. AI is making information, analysis and first drafts cheap, which raises the value of the things it can't do well: judgement, trust, presence and the ability to make a room feel something. The talk looks at which parts of work are being cheapened, which are being priced up, and how people and leaders can lean into the second group.

    Your audience leaves with

    • A clear view of which parts of their own work AI will cheapen, and which it will make more valuable
    • Practical ways to build presence, judgement and trust
    • Ideas for keeping the human side of an organisation strong while it adopts AI

Best for: leadership conferences, HR and people teams, all-company events.

    Keynote 3

    Eight-fold

What scaling a technology business teaches you about growth.

    The talk

As Chief Growth Officer at Connexin, the group grew revenue eight-fold, from £3 million to £25 million, in under three years. Ralph draws on that, and on nearly 30 years in sales and growth roles, to talk about the go-to-market choices, sales leadership and hiring decisions that make the difference when a business is growing fast.

    Your audience leaves with

    • The go-to-market questions worth settling before spending on growth
    • What changes in sales leadership as a team doubles, and doubles again
    • The decisions that mattered most, and the ones that turned out not to

Best for: sales kick-offs, technology scale-ups, founder and growth events.

    Keynote 4

    Bloody Good Questions

Questioning is the skill AI can't do for you.

For more cautious audiences, this talk runs as "Better Questions".

    The talk

AI will answer almost anything, confidently, which makes the person who asks the right question and then checks the answer more valuable than ever. Drawing on sales discovery, coaching and the NLP Meta Model, Ralph shows how better questions win deals, solve the right problems and stop people being fooled by a confident machine.

    Your audience leaves with

    • Question patterns that get to what people actually mean
    • A simple routine for checking an AI's answer before trusting it
    • A habit of asking one better question in every meeting

Best for: sales teams, consulting and professional services firms, graduate and early-careers intakes.

    Keynote 5

    The Language Nobody Taught You

How the words you use with yourself shape confidence and influence.

    The talk

Everyone runs a commentary in their own head, and most people never examine it. Ralph shows how that internal narrative shapes confidence, communication and the ability to influence others, and how small changes in language change what people feel able to do.

    Your audience leaves with

    • An understanding of how self-talk shapes confidence and behaviour
    • Simple language changes that make conversations land better
    • A practical exercise to use before a high-stakes moment

Best for: leadership programmes, women's networks, wellbeing weeks.

    Keynote 6

    The Myth of Willpower

Why habits beat willpower, and how to build them.

    The talk

Willpower runs out, usually by mid-afternoon. Lasting change comes from habits, motivation and the way people set up their environment. Ralph explains the psychology and gives audiences a six-week approach to building a habit that sticks.

    Your audience leaves with

    • Why relying on willpower fails, and what works instead
    • A six-week method for building a new habit
    • Ways to design the environment so the right choice is the easy one

Best for: wellbeing programmes, new-year kick-offs, performance and sales events.

    Formats

    • Keynote, 30 to 60 minutes
    • Keynote plus Q&A or a facilitated discussion
    • Keynote followed by a workshop for the same group
